- The Nerdcore Theologian goes by the name of Grant Barnes in the real world. An idealistic and overly analytic fellow, he is beset by a love for most things nerdy, and is always open to new ideas and nerdly properties. Here are his ramblings. All things here belong to Grant Barnes. Don't steal; it's rude. The Other Nerdcore Theologian and guest blogger is Will Flora. He is starting his stint at Southwestern Seminary this Fall, and has been a youth minister and a music minister already in his lifetime. He also enjoys many things nerdy including but not limited to Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Transformers, the list goes on. However, he enjoys Jesus most of all, and we can't get this guy to stop reading his Bible.
